To learn different tones of pencil in order to capture the light cast onto an inflated black bag, for that our task was to shade a strip with different tones using only HB pencil.
REFLECTION
Patience, movement and pressure on the pencil, observation and time were some few elements that came in handy while sketching the black bag. Bringing out the shine, the shadow of the light and the creases formed by the weight of the rope tied around its mouth was a challenge since the light didn't sit still and kept on changing as time passed.
